Direct Support Professional [DSP] M-F 2:30pm-10p; New Brighton

*NOTE: +$4.00/hr pay differential when you work weekends*

PKT Enterprises has a full-time opening for our Direct Support Professional (DSP) position for the Monday through Friday 2:30p-10p shift located in one of our New Brighton Homes! There are 4 clients and they are deaf, but on the more independent side. Staff fluent in ASL would be preferable, however being fluent in ASL is not a requirement of this position. The role of a DSP involves coming along side persons with disabilities to provide aide and opportunities that may be difficult for them to do independently; this includes getting out in the community and being involved in fun activities. Some other responsibilities would include assisting with client programming, preparing meals, passing medications, doing laundry & house cleaning, assisting with medical appointments. Full training will be provided. Work will be done in a group home setting or with individual clients 1 on 1.

Shift:

Monday through Friday 2:30pm-10pm

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or Proof of General Educational Development (GED) Tests Completion

Requirements:

• A Valid Driver's License
