Director/Project Manager

We’re supporting a highly respected Project Management consultancy in the search for their next Director/Project Manager. The Role

As Director of Projects, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a team of Project Managers-from assistants through to Project Director level-driving excellence and mentoring future leaders.
• Overseeing complex, multi-sector projects with high visibility and strategic importance. While experience in entertainment, leisure or large public venues is advantageous, strong multi-sector expertise and comfort with ambitious, high-impact projects is what truly matters.
• Providing deep contracts expertise, particularly in JCT and NEC, supporting junior team members and ensuring robust governance.
• Driving business growth through strategic thinking, commercial acumen and proactive client engagement.
• Setting the tone for culture and leadership, fostering a collaborative, motivated and high-performing team at a pivotal stage of the company’s evolution.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams.
• A strong track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects confidently and effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, with the ability to guide and upskill others.
• Natural business development flair and a strategic mindset.
