Drilling Engineer (3rd party manpower)

Job Objectives

• Supporting Drilling Superintendent, Operation Manager, and Sr. Drilling Engineers in conducting and coordinating the processes for all aspects of drilling engineering.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for the preparation of operating procedure for successful drilling operation.
• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for the preparation of BoWD (Basis of Well Design) for planned wells.
• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for the creation of tender process specifications, the selection of drilling service providers and materials suppliers.
• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for specific recommendations for specific equipment and materials to be ordered to contractors.
• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for developing WP&B and AFE documents.
• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for carrying out data analyses to enhance learning effect in future operations and develop EoWR (End of Well Report) post drilling operations.
• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for generating operational instructions, closely monitoring daily drilling operations and initiating the processes of MOC whenever necessary.
• Provide advanced drilling engineering expertise for interfacing with logistics staffs to stay abreast of daily activities and provide insight, advice and suggestions to them for day to day safe and efficient arrangement.
