Drilling Superintendent (3rd party manpower)

Job Objectives

• Leading the planning of drilling projects and managing a well operation through controlling of any risks appropriately.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Co-ordinates the overall efforts of planning, and operations strategies while obtaining all necessary approval or authority from the company.
• Prepares and implement the tender processes in accordance with PETRONAS Procurement Standards and its relevant rules and the government regulation for critical services and materials procurement including the evaluation of tender re-submissions, and assist the Operation Manager in conducting other various tenders.
• Manages a rig operation along with the Operation Manager to minimize downtime and deviation from the operation plan, and creates courses of action for next procedures and contingency plans in order to smoothly operation progress.
• Assists in developing and monitoring the Health, Safety and Environment plan under liaise with Company’s HSE team, rig contractor and key service providers.
