Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design, sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries, Mini-Circuits’ products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection, measurement and imaging applications, including military communication, guidance and electronic countermeasure systems, commercial, scientific, military land, sea and aircraft; automotive systems, medical systems, and industrial test equipment.

Mini-Circuits’ sells its products to over 20,000 customers globally through our direct sales force, applications engineering staff, sales representatives, as well as through our extensive website.    

Position Summary:

The Engineering Project Manager (EPM) is responsible for leading and managing the planning, execution, and delivery of the Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) Business Unit (BU) projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The EPM will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, product engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year

Job Function:

  • Leading and coordinating task assignments to stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams to attain project goals within time and budget constraints.
  • Attain and monitor the Business Unit KPIs related to catalog releases, final design reviews, application requests and others intended to set a high quality of service to both internal and external customers.
  • Develop project plans, appropriately manage resources, track progress, identify risk mitigation tactics and ensure effective communication amongst all project participants.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and Company policies.
  • Contribute to product development process improvements aimed to achieve higher productivity and efficiency in the operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Software, Mechanical, etc.) or a related technical field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience with a BS (degree), will accept 1 year of experience with MS (degree) in project management in an engineering environment or similar industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, resources and budgets effectively.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including design, development, procurement and quality assurance.
  • Proficient in the use of Project Management, ERP and PLM tools (JIRA, Smartsheet and/or Arena desirable).
  • Proficient in the use of Excel for database management (sorting, filtering, processing, categorizing, graphing skills are essential).
  • Proficient in the use of PowerPoint for generating Engineering, Sales and Marketing presentations.  Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance processes.
  • Strong research, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interface with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills to manage stakeholders’ expectations and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and effectively work with diverse teams across different regions.
