Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Sales- Drilling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with specific expertise in drilling tools and services. This role involves managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical solutions to meet client drilling needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell drilling tools and related services to oil & gas operators, drilling contractors, and consultants.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical support and product presentations to clients, ensuring appropriate solutions are delivered for specific drilling programs.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product development teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to inform strategic sales planning.
  • Prepare bids, proposals, and pricing strategies in alignment with company targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events as a representative of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in drilling tools, whipstocks or downhole equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of drilling tools, bottom-hole assemblies (BHAs), whipstocks and directional drilling systems.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel regionally or internationally as needed.

Preferred Experience:

  • Existing network of industry contacts including operators and drilling contractors.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
