Description: Hawaii Disability Rights Center is the state’s designated protection and advocacy for individuals with disabilities. The organization resolves rights violations through legal advocacy, outreach, education, and both individual and systemic support. Services – including casework, self-advocacy assistance, training, and public-policy advocacy – are all aimed at improving access and equity. In doing so, the organization empowers individuals to live with dignity and independence while working toward a more inclusive Hawaii.

Indirect Report: Founder, Women Speaking Out
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate vendors, volunteers, and logistics to ensure seamless event execution.
Manage event data and organize school kit distribution for high schools and colleges.
Develop engaging digital content such as handouts, presentations, and slideshows.
Support event setup, breakdown, mentorship activities, and social media outreach.

Current Chaminade Student
Federal Work-Study eligibility through Chaminade
