General work in drilling operations

Jarðboranir (Iceland Drilling) is looking for capable people to work on drilling sites. These are varied and demanding jobs involving deep geothermal drilling as well as other drilling operations.

Main tasks and responsibilities: 

• General tasks related to drilling operations.

Education and skill requirements: 

• Experience in drilling operations is preferred but not a requirement. 
• A commercial driver's license and machinery operating licenses are a significant advantage. 
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a demanding work environment. 
• Independent, reliable, and thorough work ethic.

This position involves shift work only. Each shift is 12 hours, and work is either on day or night shifts. When working abroad, longer assignments are involved.
