Job Description

You already have a successful digital consulting experience shaping and delivering transformation programs? You are eager to challenge your skills with an opportunity at the European leader of online restaurant booking? You are at ease in dynamic and international working environment? You are up for the challenge of several millions customers over a dozen countries to handle the rapid growth of a digital leader in its field?

We are hiring an experience Project Manager to handle global projects across several countries and almost every team (Product, IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer support...) and structure our offering in our 12 markets.


What would you do?

 


Your first mission brings you to Australia as you’ll be in charge to coordinate the migration of newly acquired key service to LaFourchette Service.

LaFourchette owns various companies Worldwid. One of them is based in Sidney, and our company strategy is to integrate ourselves as much as possible to benefit of a scale effect, as well as extra revenue for both brands. This means migrating the back office and website/application onto LaFourchette systems. You will need to mobilize several teams here who already recently succeed similar migrations and make sure you:

  • Understand the current business, thorough study of the value proposition and product differences
  • Coordinate all product comparisons (web interfaces, applications, back-office tools)
  • Build a detailed roadmap, define deliverables and milestones
  • Animate internal teams like Product team, Marketing, Finance, Customer service… in several locations (from Paris to Australia)
  • Highlight risks and dependencies, search for solutions, raise flags, and discuss with management team when appropriate
  • Directly manage some technical projects and data migration
  • Go hands-on and help where needed
  • Ensure compatibility of all systems
  • Set up and animate steering committees
  • Handle change management

Your mission will be to manage and be the guarantor of the launch plan, and of course ensure that the company meets the goal to get the migration successfully done.

You’ll take on the responsibility of other strategic projects for LaFourchette, mainly international-driven and towards new market expansion.

Qualifications

Profile you must have

  • Msc/Bac+5 (engineering school, business degree, master)
  • You are Bilingual English/French
  • At least 5-7 years in a similar role in a management consulting/technology services company
  • Core analytics strategy skills (assessment, strategy definition, business case, roadmap development, etc.)
  • Significant experience in a similar industry or position in an international context to get a good understanding of the project (but no specific technical or product skills required)
  • Strong project management expertise, organization skills and sensitivity to timeline
  • You are at ease in the web environment
  • You are problem-solving oriented and able to ramping-up on complex topics,
  • You are enthusiastic and have strong written and communication skills

Qualifications nice to have

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and experience in a web startup are highly appreciated
  • You are rigorous, dynamic, creative and passionate about the web and its latest endeavors
  • You have a good understanding and knowledge of tools, feeds, and both web / mobile interfaces
  • You’re at ease on the web environment and industry
  • Ideally you speak a third language (Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, etc.)

The role includes a few travels (Australia…)
