Job Description

Javelin Utility Services Inc. is searching for a HDD Driller Locator to join us in our Grants Pass, Oregon office. As an HDD Driller Locator, you will be working alongside the Drill Operator and crew to complete drilling, tie ins, setting boxes, and pot holing, plus additional work.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of related drilling locator experience
• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license (Commercial driver’s license preferred but not required)
• Knowledge of potholing and drill running lines
• Telecommunications construction experience preferred
• Able to lift/carry 70 lbs. regularly
• Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas
• Be able to read and understand schematics and construction prints
• Manage troubleshooting problems as they arise in the field
• Be able to Load and unload materials and equipment
• Manage all tools and equipment
• Complete occasional underground activities, such as proof and place cable/fiber in conduit
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Safety focused – setting up and maintaining safe work environments
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Job Requirements:

• Be able to lift and carry 70 lbs.
• Must pass U/A Test (urinalysis)
