Skilled in maintaining and optimizing Windows and Linux environments, supporting Active Directory, managing storage systems, and performing routine performance tuning. Adept at troubleshooting, implementing system upgrades, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and security. Familiar with automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash), virtualization, and basic network configuration, with a strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

2-4+ years of experience in system analysis, network design, and infrastructure deployment

Proficient in analyzing and optimizing server, domain, and storage configurations

Skilled in verifying and improving existing IT setups for performance and reliability

Experienced in system administration, design, and integration of new solutions

Familiar with complex IT environments like Fairfax County’s architecture

MCSE-certified or equivalent technical expertise

Basic Qualifications :

Windows Server: 2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022+

Active Directory Domain Services and Group Policy Management (GPO, CSP)

Endpoint management using SCCM and Microsoft Intune

Exchange Server 2016/2019 (End-of-Life aware and supported)

Administration of Windows Terminal Server

Microsoft Office 365 suite and services

SQL Server: 2017, 2019 and newer

SharePoint Server (MSS) 2013 and later versions

Windows deployment via WDS, Windows Imaging, and OS provisioning

Automation and scripting: PowerShell, Bash for Windows, VBScript, Batch

Experience with Apache web server administration

Worked in Unix, SUN Solaris, and Red Hat Linux environments, Apache web server management
