About the team:

This individual will form part of a team that is responsible for delivering end-to-end support and improvement initiatives across the investment platform. The key focus areas include project management, business process improvement, problem-solving, and SME (Subject Matter Expert) engagement to enhance platform efficiency and client outcomes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define the project's scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and goals. Clarify key milestones, performance criteria, and timelines to facilitate effective planning and execution
  • Assign tasks, manage resources, and ensure the project is carried out according to the plan
  • Monitor project progress and performance using key metrics
  • Track progress, identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and adjust as needed
  • Measure and track the impact of business transformation initiatives
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to ensure the project's successful completion
  • Lead change management efforts to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and systems
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders
  • Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules and resource allocation
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Identify and eliminate waste, reduce variation, and enhance processes
  • Lead and support the implementation of process changes, ensuring buy-in from stakeholders and managing any challenges that arise
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to achieve business objectives
  • Understand and utilise technology to automate processes, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering or any related qualification
  • 5 – 10 years relevant project management experience, with specific industry experience. Direct asset management experience would be preferred
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or other relevant certification
  • Strong interest in data science, process analysis, and client servicing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with external clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate within teams
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt) – advantage
  • A keen interest in AI aligns well with our job requirements, as it demonstrates a proactive engagement with cutting-edge technology and its applications
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; exposure to data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) will be an advantage – advantage
