Irrigation Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Irrigation Technician to join our team. In this role you will install, inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems across commercial and/or residential sites. Your work will ensure landscapes thrive, water is used efficiently, and our clients receive reliable, professional service.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Install new irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip systems, smart controllers) according to design plans and specifications.

·         Inspect and maintain existing irrigation systems identifying leaks, broken heads/nozzles, wiring issues, and malfunctioning controllers.

·         Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical issues in irrigation systems.

·         Program and adjust irrigation controllers and smart systems to optimize water usage and meet regulatory requirements.

·         Collaborate with landscape architects, contractors, clients and internal teams to plan and execute irrigation projects.

·         Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system performance.

·         Work outdoors in various weather conditions and utilize hand and power tools as required.

 Requirements

·     High school diploma or equivalent.

·     Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in irrigation system installation, 

 maintenance or repair.

·    Knowledge of irrigation components and systems, valves, controllers, drip lines, trenches, smart systems.

·    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics and landscape plans.

·    Valid driver’s license.

·    Strong problem-solving skills, good physical stamina and comfort working in outdoor environments.
