The role you’ll contribute:

The Irrigation Technician performs a wide range of routine irrigation and landscape maintenance tasks using hand and power tools or equipment. Responsibilities include a combination of both irrigation system maintenance and installation, as well as, small landscape projects. Main responsibilities include such tasks as the following\: irrigation system checks, irrigation repairs to both lateral and mainline, repairing/replacing heads, nozzles, valves and controllers, watering, digging, raking, sodding, edging around valve boxes, installing new lines, heads, wiring and controllers. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to complete work. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

  • Performs system checks on irrigation controllers and zones, makes repairs as identified, and keeps maintenance records of each controller and zone in that controller.
  • Keeps detailed records of irrigation inventory and manages stock levels for irrigation parts.
  • Installs irrigation on small projects or renovates existing irrigation to accommodate planting.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed\:

  • 5+ Related Experience
  • Driver's License (DL) Must have a class “E” Florida Driver’s License and driving record in accordance with Florida Hospital policy
