JOB SUMMARY

 

Information Technology Project Manager is to define the scope of work, roles and responsibilities, deliverables and ensure a successful execution of the corporate IT projects and the projects which are applicable to the properties owned, operated and franchised by Kessler Collection, in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The Information Technology Project Manager will leverage project management tools, applications and solutions such as Wrike, Visio, Smartsheet, Monday.com to manage project scope, timelines and budgets to deliver in an efficient and effective manner within the set parameters, change management methodologies while collaborating with the stake holders and business partners of the organization.

This role is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the program to meet the strategic technology goals of the organization, including managing project plans, budgets, and resources. This project leadership position has a broad overview and scope of concurrent projects involving all aspects of the IT Department and technical resources. Responsibilities entail project monitoring, management, monitor, track, and control outcomes, facilitating project team meetings along the way to ensure performance, progress, and to address problems that arise.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Manage a portfolio of initiatives that span across business units or lines of business, acquiring valuable insight as to how parts of the organization impact one another.
  • Procurement Management -Consisting of procurement planning, contracts planning, authoring solicitations, evaluation, requesting solicitation responses, selecting contractor(s), administering contract(s), and contract(s) closing activities. 
  • Schedule Management - consisting of activity definition and sequencing, resource estimating, duration estimating, schedule development, and schedule control activities. 
  • Integration Management - consisting of project plan development, project plan execution, and integrated change control activities. 
  • Scope Management - consisting of project initiation, scope planning, scope definition and scope change control activities. 
  • Cost Management - consisting of resource planning, cost estimating, budgeting and cost control activities.
  • Generates interim progress reports and analytics for leadership communication.
  • Managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation.
  • Identifying, procuring and organize necessary resources, estimating project budgets, setting project scopes and schedules, and wrapping all that information into project plans.  
  • Provide a big-picture perspective to manage projects to ensure they are in line with strategic business objectives. 
  • Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology project management and best practices.
  • Maintain jovial relationships with Team Members, Leadership and Grand Performers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, License, Certifications, Experience 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technology systems, support and customer service
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical leadership roles and project management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with business stakeholders and executives
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • 5+ Years Technology focused experience required for the hospitality industry.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience. 

  • Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, without the use of a private office.
  • Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism & collaboration.
  • Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
  • This position requires travel up to 40% of the time. Specific details outlined by direct supervisor.
