IT Project Manager

- Twelve months contract

- Office based, 5 days a week
- Role based at Pinelands - Cape Town
- Must have experience in Financial Services Industry specializing in credit/loans and Insurance.

•  IT Project Manager (5-10 years with working experienceStatement of work

• Plan, direct and co-ordinate the activities of enterprise-wide projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished and to develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans and allocation of available resources, in line with the business strategy.

• The Agile Project Manager will also monitor and report on project and deliverable progress,

• The Project Manager will also be ensuring the team is working on the right tasks at the right time.

• Ensure client needs are accurately captured in scope and that the change management process is led and supported together with the client.

• Manage delivery of large and complex projects according to prevailing project management methodology. 

• Provide expert level guidance to software project team in terms of process, system, tools, methods as well as communication, integration, and successful team dynamics through weekly facilitation sessions.

• Manage scope of work, budget, timeframes and quality of deliverables.

• Identify project stakeholders, communicate their roles, define their level of participation in project, and map their communication needs and stakeholder engagement strategies throughout the project plan.

- Project Management Certification

-  Must have experience in Financial Services Industry specializing in credit/loans and Insurance.
