Join our team in Wabush, NL as a Journeyperson Millwright or Machinist! This 7x7 rotation role is ideal for local candidates and offers a competitive wage of $63.97/hour, including base pay and premiums, additional premiums may be available.

Your Role 

• Rebuild components in the shop.
• Perform preventative maintenance , including precision line boring.
• Assess equipment wear and damage; make repair recommendations and suggest improvements for reliability and longevity.
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety.
• Work independently in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

What You Bring 

• Journeyperson Millwright or Machinist certification preferred. Will consider apprentice with experience
• Ability to repair and fabricate equipment from a variety of manufacturers.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Experience customizing equipment/parts to meet customer needs.
• Ability to perform failure analysis and collaborate on welding repair processes.
• Experience with line boring an asset
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• 5 year commercial drivers abstract
