What Will You Be Doing:
In this role, you will work closely with a highly respected team leader and gain invaluable project management experience. This is the perfect role for someone transitioning from an engineering and administration discipline and wanting to advance their career into project management in the long term.
As the Project Coordinator, you will be pivotal in smoothly delivering a large, complex project based in North West Melbourne. Working closely with project managers, technical teams, and clients, you'll ensure that administrative and operational tasks are handled precisely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications between stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing contracts, reports, and progress claims.
- Track project timelines and budgets, providing regular updates to the team.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and data centre teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as required.
The Foundation For Success: - Proven experience in a project assistance role, preferably within electrical engineering consulting, construction, or data centre industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management software.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Complex project experience in hospitals, prisons or airports would be helpful.
