Project Management Responsibilities:
Oversee residential and commercial large loss projects from start to finish, with individual loss values often exceeding $1M
Coordinate mitigation, reconstruction, and repair schedules across multiple trades and vendors
Serve as the main point of contact for property owners, insurance adjusters, engineers, and consultants
Track project milestones, deadlines, and change orders while ensuring budget adherence
Lead jobsite progress meetings, safety compliance, and inspections
Supervise, train, and when necessary, hire/fire field personnel and subcontractors
Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and timely within job management systems (e.g., DASH, Encircle, Xactimate)
Estimating Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed on-site damage assessments for residential and commercial losses
Develop accurate scopes and estimates using Xactimate (REQUIRED)
Write comprehensive estimates, including CAT losses, structural repairs, and contents restoration
Negotiate with insurance adjusters and third-party administrators (TPAs) to ensure fair scope and pricing approval
Develop and maintain subcontractor/vendor relationships to ensure accurate bids and cost control
Support emergency response and on-call rotation during high-volume or CAT events
5+ years of project management and estimating experience in restoration or construction
Proven success managing large loss projects of $1M+
Advanced proficiency in Xactimate and job documentation systems like DASH, Encircle, Outlook
Knowledge of building codes, OSHA compliance, and mitigation best practices
Exceptional time management, leadership, and client communication skills
Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects under pressure
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.) strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in construction management, engineering, or related field
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
