Lead Mechanical Engineer - Rotating

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. We are currently looking for qualified candidates for a Lead Rotating Equipment Mechanical Engineer position. This position is based out of our Calcasieu Pass LNG 2 (CP2) facility located in Cameron, Louisiana.  

Responsibilities:

• Rotating equipment MOC/HAZOP signoff
• Site rotating equipment technical authority
• VG engineering sign off on rotating equipment inspection / readiness, including commissioning and startup procedures
• Provides input to weekly site engineering report

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or University
• 12+ years of overall experience on capital projects from feasibility through construction
• Minimum of 3 years in a Mechanical Lead role, supervising a team of Mechanical Engineers.
• Familiarity with various project phases and the scope/deliverables required
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, OneNote) preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required
• Registered Professional Engineering license preferred
• Ability to train and travel to live facilities preferred
