Lead Project Manager / Deputy Project Manager

Vacancy: Lead Project Manager / Deputy Project Manager – Mining Projects

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lead Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager to support large-scale mining EPC/EPCM projects. This role is strictly mining-focused; candidates with primary experience in petroleum or oil & gas projects will not be suitable.

Industry Experience Requirements

• Essential: Mining industry experience (non-petroleum / non-gas)
• Preferred commodities:
  
  • Zinc
  • Copper
  • Gold
• Project exposure preferred:
  
  • Crushers
  • Materials handling systems
  • Underground mining projects
  • Mining-related infrastructure projects
• Second preference commodities:
  
  • Nickel
  • Cobalt
  • PGM’s (Platinum Group Metals)

Experience Requirements

• 10–15 years experience in engineering and design on EPC / EPCM projects
• Lead Project Manager:
  
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a Lead Project Manager role within mining
• Deputy Project Manager:
  
  • Minimum 7 years experience as a Project Engineer or similar role within mining
• Strong preference for candidates with multi-disciplinary construction management experience, including:
  
  • Mechanical
  • Piping
  • Civil (earthworks and structural)
  • Electrical & C&I

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in:
  
  • Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Civil Engineering (preferred)
  • Electrical Engineering
    OR
• Degree / Diploma in Construction Management

Language & Location Requirements

• Fluent in both Russian and English (essential)
• Candidates currently residing in Kazakhstan will be a distinct advantage
