Role purpose
The Supervisor/Foreman is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and financial performance of a set of drilling projects. By leading drilling teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and fostering stakeholder relationships, this position supports the company's goals of being a market leader in automated mining and creating a high-performance culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- National Diploma or Certificate in Mining or Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years work experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Supervisor in a mining environment
Advantageous:
- First aid and safety certification
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations to create a safe working environment.
- Enhance team performance and productivity through visible Felt leadership on site
- Ensure optimal utilisation and coordination of machinery and materials
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and frequent reporting to site management to build strong relationships.
- Take responsibility for machine and equipment performance, maintenance and records Monitor drilling progress and performance

- This role requires local and occasional international travel within the region with temporary relocation possible.
