Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright for the afternoon shift.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair meat processing and packaging equipment, including stuffers, smokehouses, chopper machines, and high-speed packaging equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on high-speed processing equipment, including PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, and vacuum pumps.
  • Inspect and measure parts for wear or misalignment; replace defective components as needed.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
  • Test machinery operation after repairs and maintenance.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and report any issues to QA immediately.
  • Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations by reporting hazards, accidents, and incidents.
  • Follow all SOPs, HACCP, and GMP procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Industrial Millwright certification (433A).
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with high-speed equipment, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficient in English, with strong mathematical and computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tools, materials, and trade practices.
  • Ability to lift 60lbs and work in cold conditions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
