We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright for the afternoon shift.
Responsibilities
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair meat processing and packaging equipment, including stuffers, smokehouses, chopper machines, and high-speed packaging equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on high-speed processing equipment, including PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, and vacuum pumps.
Inspect and measure parts for wear or misalignment; replace defective components as needed.
Clean and lubricate machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
Test machinery operation after repairs and maintenance.
Adhere to food safety standards and report any issues to QA immediately.
Comply with Occupational Health and Safety regulations by reporting hazards, accidents, and incidents.
Follow all SOPs, HACCP, and GMP procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Industrial Millwright certification (433A).
2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with high-speed equipment, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficient in English, with strong mathematical and computer skills.
Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tools, materials, and trade practices.
Ability to lift 60lbs and work in cold conditions.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
