On behalf of our valued client in the Steel Fabrication industry, we are looking for a day shift millwright\/industrial mechanic reporting to their Mississauga plant.

Wage: Up to 44.25$\/HR

As an integral part of the Maintenance Team, you’ll be responsible for keeping production systems operating at peak efficiency while supporting the integration of new equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of production equipment and facilities, including large\-scale bridge cranes (up to 25 tons)
    <\/li>
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and calibrate machinery
    <\/li>
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades
    <\/li>
  • Carry out core Millwright duties in alignment with safety, quality, and production targets
    <\/li> <\/ul>

    What You Bring<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Journeyman Millwright or Industrial Mechanic certification (or equivalent experience)
      <\/li>
    • Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and machining systems
      <\/li>
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
      <\/li>
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills
      <\/li>
    • Machining experience is considered a strong asset
      <\/li>
    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
      <\/li>
    • Comfortable working rotating shifts (day\/evening, including weekends)
      <\/li>
    • Reliable, safety\-focused, and team\-oriented
      <\/li>
    • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
      <\/li> <\/ul>

      • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and manual handling
        <\/li>
      • Must be able to work in tight spaces and at heights
        <\/li>

        Work Environment:<\/b>
        <\/p>

        • Industrial steel fabrication facility
          <\/li>
        • Exposure to noise, heat, vibration, fumes, and moving machinery
          <\/li>
        • Strict adherence to PPE usage and safety protocols
          <\/li>
        • This is a <\/span>safety\-sensitive role<\/b>
