Job Description

Essence of the job:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining machinery at client mining sites. This includes fault finding, preventive and corrective maintenance, assembly/rebuilds, and ensuring compliance with operational, safety, and quality standards.

Qualification:

Recognized Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic / Millwright / Electrician) OR

Proven hands-on experience as a Serviceman on underground mining equipment (without formal qualification).

Valid driver’s license.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualified artisans (Diesel Mechanic, Millwright, Electrician) as well as experienced non-qualified Servicemen with proven expertise on this machinery will be considered.

Strong experience in servicing and repairing mining machinery (Trackless Mobile Machinery – TMM).

Preventive and corrective maintenance capability, including fault finding and root cause analysis.

Experience with service, repairs, and rebuilds on machines.

Knowledge of SOPs, safety, and housekeeping (5S).

Ability to work independently on client sites and communicate effectively with mind representatives.
