Millwright/ Fitter and Turner (Mining industry)

Minimum Requirements:

• Artisan Qualification, Diploma, or Degree in Fitting and Turning or Millwright.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role or department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical product support (underground and surface), including:
  
  • Troubleshooting and fitment of new or repaired components.
  • Pump commissioning, product condition monitoring, and end-user training.
• Identify business opportunities such as complete pump overhauls and sub-assembly repairs during field interventions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Mine Shaft Foremen, Fitters, and other key stakeholders.
• Manage service exchange delivery and fitment, including:
  
  • Attending to breakdowns.
  • Handling component deliveries and collections to and from clients.
