Millwright (Labelling and Manufacturing industry)

Our client in the labelling industry in on the lookout for a Millwright to be based in Jetpack

• Perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of printing machinery and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and proactively address them to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and operators to ensure efficient production processes.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, utilizing your expertise to develop effective solutions.
• Install, align, and calibrate new equipment, ensuring proper integration into existing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs performed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machinery performance and reliability.

• A relevant trade certification as a Millwright or similar technical qualification.
• Proven 3 – 5 years of experience as a Millwright in an industrial setting, preferably within the printing or manufacturing industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Working on turning/ milling machines
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
• Flexibility to work standby
• Own transport

Salary: R460k per annum
