JOBSUMMARY
The Millwright Mechanic - Production is responsible for a variety of advanced level maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities. This position serves as a resource to other mechanics and crafts for resolutions to diverse and complex mechanical problems.

Physical Requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and pushing/pulling a maximum force of 105 pounds. Subject to standing, sitting, walking, climbing, bending, crawling, squatting, kneeling and working in cramped and strained positions for extended periods of time to perform job scope. Subject to climbing up to 200 feet in height.
Working conditions are primarily outside with frequent exposure to inclement weather; water production and recycled; mechanical, electrical, chemical and confined space hazards; offensive fumes; excessive noise; deep excavations; and animals, snakes and poisonous insects. Required to comply with requirements as specified in applicable regulations for personal protective equipment, including clearance for use of respiratory protection and other associated equipment. Performs confined space entries in hazardous environments. If part of the emergency action team, must be able to complete the requirements as specified in applicable regulations for Hazardous Materials Emergency Response, including clearance for use of respiratory protection and other associated protective equipment. Required to take a lead role in emergency action team during chemical release incidents and/or drills. Operates company vehicle on a daily basis.
May be required to work hours other than regular daytime schedules such as shift work, nights, weekends and holidays.
