Duties & Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across industrial machinery and production lines.
Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor belts, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and related equipment to minimize downtime.
Install, dismantle, and adjust machinery and heavy equipment in accordance with technical drawings, schematics, and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records including job cards, work orders, and maintenance schedules.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize plant operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
Assist with the training and supervision of apprentices and maintenance assistants when required.
Support electrical tasks such as PLC fault finding, cabling repairs, and motor servicing (knowledge of Siemens PLC is a plus).
Desired Experience & Qualification
Completed Millwright qualification or Red Seal certification.
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings (FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging, or similar).
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and fault diagnosis.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands; visa and relocation support provided by employer.
