Introduction

Are you a hands-on problem solver who keeps machines running?We’re looking for a skilled Millwright to take charge of maintaining, repairing, and optimizing our plant equipment and facilities. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plant Equipment Maintenance: Keep our machines humming with proactive care and timely repairs.

  • Breakdown Response: Be the hero who restores operations during unexpected failures and scheduled shutdowns.

  • Advanced Fault Finding: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Technical Interpretation: Read and understand engineering drawings and manuals with confidence.

  • Installations & Upgrades: Set up new machines and improve existing systems across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains.

  • Inspections & Feedback: Conduct regular equipment checks and report root causes of breakdowns.

  • Documentation: Complete work orders and requisitions to keep maintenance records accurate and up to date.

  • Automation & Calibration: Support automation projects and ensure machines are calibrated and set up for optimal performance.

  • Electrical Systems: Maintain and enhance electrical control systems across the plant.

 

 Health and Safety

  • Strictly follow all safety protocols including LOTO, Hot Work, and Vessel Entry procedures.

  • Actively participate in safety meetings and initiatives.

  • Report incidents and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability.

  • Stay current with safety training and wear protective gear at all times.

 

Employee Management and Development

  • Ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

  • Conduct regular goal reviews and provide coaching and mentorship.

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet operational needs.

  • Support succession planning to build a resilient and future-ready team.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Qualified Trade Certificate as a Millwright
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of plant maintenance experience
  • Forklift driver's license advantageous
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment advantageous
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment advantageous
  • Experience with Tool and Parts Management
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in ARC, TIG and MIG welding advantageous
