The R.W. Tomlinson Materials Group is looking for an individual to fill a Millwright/Welder position at the Bruce Mines Quarry location. The primary role of this position is to support the maintenance team through general labour, equipment upkeep, and plant organization.
Schedule: Day shift, Wednesday–Sunday, 50-65 hours per week, with the possibility of working evenings when required.
Job Location: Bruce Mines Quarry: 9630 Hwy 17, Bruce Mines ON.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating a torch and stick welder.
- Replacing plant components such as bearings, idlers, pulleys, belts, and sheaves.
- Repairing or replacing guarding.
- Repairing or building walkways and stairways.
- Replaicing crusher and chute wear liners.
- Aligning equipment and installing bearing using specalized tools such as lasers, micrometers, and calipers.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic power units.
- Identify the root cause of failures and implement a thorough repair solution.
- Attention to detail and critial thinking are necessary for this position.
- Utilizing manual dexterity, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
EDUCATION, REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Valid G drivers license.
- Capable of operating a service truck as required.
- Ability to work well with others.
- General knowledge of processing plant equipment.
- Ability to work quikcly, efficiently, and in a safe manner.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Physically demanding tasks including manual labour.
- Exposure to noisy environments and rough terrain.
- Long workdays, weekend work required.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The expected salary range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. Placement within the range is dependant on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
