Mortgage Loan Originator - Covington

Summary: We are looking for an experienced mortgage loan officer to work with clients to find the best mortgage solution for them. The ideal candidate would be someone who has a referral base and interested in building the Red River Bank Mortgage department. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Primary contact with all parties on individual loans originated from application to closing
• Obtain all necessary documentation and information to complete an application/loan in compliance with FNMA, FHLMC, VA, USDA, and FHA and mortgage lending regulations inclusive of RESPA, TRID, HMDA, ECOA, FDPA, and CRA
• Market to outside sources to gain referrals – groups to include but not limited to realtors, builders, developers, and individuals 
• Represent the Bank in the community by active participation in civic and community groups
• Comply with all applicable banking regulations and all Red River Bank policies and procedures 

Education and/or Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a loan officer, specifically in the secondary market 
• Experience with all loan programs: conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA
• Established referral base of outside sources
