Construction Project Manager
Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $100k-$130k

A growing commercial construction company with a strong pipeline of projects is seeking a Project Manager to join its team. This opening is due to recent growth, making it a high-priority hire. This role is scoped as a Project Manager I, but the team is open to more experienced PM2 or PM3 candidates.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Lead project start-up and execution, including estimating, contractor buyout, subcontracting, and procurement to support efficient project mobilization.

  • Manage day-to-day project operations, including RFIs, meetings, scheduling, quantity tracking, and labor productivity.

  • Oversee cost and budget management, including change orders, invoicing, and financial reconciliation to ensure fiscal accountability.

  • Maintain client satisfaction by delivering high-quality outcomes, facilitating team collaboration, and managing conflict resolution when necessary.

Construction Project Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience (3–6 years in commercial construction).

  • Proficiency in construction software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, and Viewpoint.

  • Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and proven ability to independently manage multiple commercial projects; healthcare construction experience is a plus but not required.

  • Excellent communication, scheduling, and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience in subcontract management and financial forecasting.
