Main Responsibility:

Able to manage or co-work with senior project manager to deliver the construction project, assist department head to achieve the AGM target. In this capacity, there are 6 major activities for which the position is accountable:

 

1. Business development and Planning:

  • To support the BD in proposal, pitching and tender interview.
  • Planning—Develop the project execution plan incl. budget, schedule, strategy, project team chart, project success measurement etc. chair the project kick-off meeting and obtain the client sign-off
  • Manage the test-fit review and nail down the initial scope of work

 

2. Reporting: 

  • Manage project reporting requirements to accurately communicate on project deliverables of time coast and quality
  • Compile the Regular Project Report (Project progress, financial status, next activities, monthly report etc.)
  • Maintain current project data in the Project File.
  • Maintain the Cost Control Report of projects.
  • Project APP data entries.
  • Project Risk Register.
  • HSE Report.
  • U-tracker.

 

3. Procurement:

  • Manage the project team with procurement related activities.
  • Draft the tender documents and consolidate the appendix of the tender package. 
  • Collate and track received and issued documentation through a document register.
  • Analysis of tender submission and comparison table of tender received.
  • Clarify with the tenderers for any tender query.
  • Conduct the recommendation report to client, obtain written approval.

 

4. Site management:

  • Manage the construction site daily activities, report to client on the site progress
  • Chair PCG meeting, regular meeting and produce meeting minutes.
  • Attend the site meeting Coordinate with contractor / vendors for collection of required information

 

5. Project Financial Status:

  • Manage the project financial status update and cost control, manage the project change within the budget allocation.
  • Timely update the project spending against the original budget plan Trim up the variation costs.

 

6. Project Closeout:

  • Manage closeout activities, collet all closeout document from suppliers and handover to client, get client to sign-off.
  • Manage the compilation of the Project Closeout Report for the client’s approval.
    Project benchmarking report and Case Study.
    Client Satisfaction survey to all applicable completion project.

 

 

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Desired experience and technical skills:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in Project Management related activities.
  • Primary Majors: Project Management, Built Environment, Architecture, Structure, Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering, etc.
  • Secondary Majors: Engineering Cost Estimation, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, etc.
  • Familiar with Project Management process in office fit-out, industry factory, newbuild construction, data center, lab, etc.
  • Dedicate to meet the expectations and requirements the PDS team, and supports the overall deliverables as the Project Management commitment in proposal.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and focus on accurate and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
  • Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done; knows how to organize people and activities to create efficient work flows.
  • Strong communication skill link with all project parties incl. key client, supplier, contractor, landlord, designer and so on.
  • Proficient in Windows Working System.
  • Proficient in MS Office Pack Tool (Excel, PPT, Word, etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Project.
  • Familiar with Design Software, like AutoCAD.
  • Proficient English and Mandarin communication skills.
  • Documents received are accurate and manage the project execution.
  • Meet the JLL annual goals evaluation.
