General Purpose of the Position |
Provides Project Management methodologies and discipline for organizational initiatives, strategies, processes, and procedures through management of business and technical teams, collaborating with other stakeholders, and coordinating with vendor partners in support of business unit and member service needs. The Project Manager will work with all areas of the business to develop detailed requirements, implementation plans, communication strategies, and other items necessary to deliver high quality projects. This position will interact and lead staff from all areas of the organization. The role will enable the delivery of high-quality projects that align with the organization’s strategic priorities, requiring establishment and management of expectations within business and technical teams.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in project management, business, or a related field, or equivalent in related work experience. Minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in project management, business analysis, and/or continual service improvement. Experience with software implementations and support; system conversions experience a plus. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. Project Management Professional (PMP) required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
General knowledge of current technologies and products used in Fintech industry.
Expertise in:
Project management methodologies - Software Development Lifecycle, Agile/Scrum
Microsoft Office products, including Visio
Project management information systems (Workfront, MS Project preferred)
Additional knowledge of the following a plus:
Project Portfolio Management
Business Analysis
Vendor Management
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning
IT Frameworks (ITIL, ISO 20000)
