Company/Client Overview:

 

The company's loan management platform for hard money lending, designed to standardize and simplify the lending process for borrowers, investors, and loan officers. Our platform streamlines loan origination, servicing, and management, making it easier for users to access and manage their financial investments.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the ongoing development and enhancement of our platform. This role is central to coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring efficient project delivery, and supporting decision-making throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a solid background in project management and a strong understanding of fintech, lending operations, AI tools, and startup environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Planning and Execution

• Lead the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
• Define and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, adapting plans as needed
• Support agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews

 

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with a cross-functional team
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Help resolve blockers and maintain project momentum

 

Requirements and Scope Definition

• Translate product vision and business goals into clear, actionable requirements
• Assist in writing and refining user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
• Maintain a clear backlog of prioritized tasks and features

 

Design and UX Oversight

• Collaborate with the design team to review UI/UX proposals and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure design elements align with product functionality and user needs

 

Quality Assurance and Testing

• Participate in testing efforts to identify bugs and usability issues
• Help manage the QA process in the absence of a dedicated QA resource
• Ensure high-quality releases through thorough validation and stakeholder sign-off

 

Release and Change Management

• Prepare and share release notes for product updates and new features
• Coordinate release timelines and communicate updates internally and externally

 

User Feedback and Iteration

• Gather and analyze user feedback to guide feature improvements and product refinements
• Collaborate with the product and development teams to prioritize enhancements based on feedback

 

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes
• Support internal reporting and presentations for leadership and investors

 

Strategic and Operational Support

• Participate in product planning and roadmap discussions
• Support change management initiatives and adapt quickly to evolving business needs

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills (accent is acceptable)

Education: Bachelor's Degree (ideally)

Experience: 3+ years of related experience 

Industry: Finance, Lending, or Fintech

 

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, lending, or fintech
• Proven experience working in a startup environment is required
• ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing conditions
• Strong project management skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration
• Experience coordinating or working with AI-powered tools, platforms, or workflows is required
• Strong written and verbal communication, reporting, and presentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure

 

Advantageous:

• Experience with Bubble.io or other no-code/low-code platforms
• Background in SaaS product management
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ClickUp, Notion, or other project management platforms
• Exposure to AI platforms such as OpenAI, Zapier AI, or other automation tools
