**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

DLS Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to lead a contract in support of the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Services Center (C5ISC). This contract will support the C5ISC mission, and the design, execution, and evolution, of the Business Operations Division Project Management Branch (BOD-PMB) organization. You will assist and enable project managers in the C5ISC Product Lines and Shared Services Divisions and facilitate a more rapid, routine, and reliable delivery of mission enabling capabilities.

This role will have significant exposure to the DLS Engineering executive leadership team.

A Day in the Life:

  • Manage a team of 5-7 other project managers to achieve BOD-PMB objectives.
  • Prepare, develop, review, and revise project initiation, project planning, project tracking, Project Decision Event (PDE) schedules, and artifacts to increase the timeliness, accuracy, quality, and adaptability of government projects.
  • Agile - Scrum of Scrums Teams based - Planning, Development, Promulgation, Continuous Improvement and Configuration Management of BOD-PMB Products (e.g., Project Management Artifacts, Process Guides, Tools, and Training Materials). This includes support for Agile sprint planning, execution, and review of related tasks and activities.
  • Become familiar with and follow C5ISC Project Management policy, processes, and other PMB products including project management training materials, tools and artifacts required for Project Decision Event (PDE) completion/approval to provide support to C5ISC Project Managers.
  • Assist in providing Product Lines, Shared Services Divisions (and constituent branches) with business support in defining, planning, and implementing business processes and practices that facilitate C5ISC Operations and Project execution.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI) Services for use by the BOD-PMB's customers and assist these parties in understanding this information (data visualization, dashboard and measurements of the projects and initiatives) to improve cost, schedule and performance.

When I read the below it sounds like me (all certifications / proficiencies are required):

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - Agile Alliance Credential.
  • Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: MS Project/Project Pro, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Understanding on the usage of: Microsoft Platform, Microsoft BI, and Atlassian Jira and Confluence
