PROJECT MANAGER (HYBRID - LA / REMOTE – MIAMI ONLY)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will execute both long- and short-term Brand objectives relating to product-to-market for the launch of assigned projects with a goal of timeliness, cost effectiveness and inventory management. Coordinate new product development with all departments, including Marketing, Product Development, Packaging, Supply Chain and Finance. Manage the development of all materials necessary to support new brand or product introductions including finished goods, samples, displays and collateral.
The ideal candidate excels at timeline management, supplier alignment, cost analysis, process optimization, and proactive risk management.
As a member of the Finance & Operations team, you will collaborate with all teams cross-functionally and report directly to the SVP Finance & Operations.
HYBRID (Los Angeles) or REMOTE (Miami only): This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirement, is remote, and open to candidates based in (Los Angeles, CA (preferred) or Miami, Fl. The position requires working in PST hours, so candidates located on the West Coast are preferred. A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions are essential for remote work.
For HYBRID: While the position is primarily remote, it follows a hybrid schedule requiring occasional in-person work in Culver City, CA 90230.
Miami, FL - Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000
Los Angeles, CA - Salary range: $100,000 - $110,000
What You’ll Do:
Essential Job Functions
- Lead Sourcing initiatives to develop best practices, process improvements, reporting, savings pipeline development, negotiations, contracts management, policies, new supplier creation, supplier due diligence, training, and technology platforms
- Spearhead Item Code & BOM creation for new product launches and changes.
- Manage internal costing files and analyze supplier cost breakdowns using internal and external benchmarks
- Lead strategic negotiations with suppliers regarding prices, quality, volumes, lead times, contract and payment terms, framework agreements, etc.
- Build and maintain internal project timelines based on vendor schedules and internal cross functional milestones, ensuring tasks, owners, and deadlines are clearly communicated.
- Own and facilitate internal cross-functional timeline meetings, ensuring open milestones are reviewed, risks are flagged to cross functional team members, and action items are facilitated to completion.
- Attend weekly vendor/manufacturer meetings, track deliverables across all aspects of product goods including packaging, regulatory and testing while supporting communication between partners and internal teams.
- Present project updates and key milestones in cross-functional NPD meetings (new product development)
- Identify risks and bottlenecks proactively, escalating when needed and proposing solutions to keep launches on track.
- Maintain launch calendar and status trackers for all new product development & changes calendar.
- Responsible for mapping the supplier market across the Americas region for different categories and working with cross-functional partners to develop new suppliers and/or category strategies
- Generate and maintain costing reports to identify cost-saving opportunities by analyzing spending against annual volumes.
- Continuously monitor supplier performance, implementing improvement plans as necessary and addressing quality, service, or cost issues.
- Evaluate and forecast vendor capacity to develop allocation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of supplier scorecards and review processes to drive ongoing improvements.
- Optimize purchasing sources by continuously following and analyzing selected suppliers in terms of financial stability and quality
- Elaborate and ensure relevant contracts run smoothly; assess the satisfaction of internal clients and intervene to settle any disputes thru Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
- Track savings initiatives, budget impacts, and supplier cost performance.
Non-Essential Job Functions
- Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed to support departmental goals.
- Provide backup coverage for team members during absences or peak workload periods.
- Perform additional administrative tasks or clerical duties as assigned.
- Support cross-departmental efforts or collaborative initiatives when required.
What You’ll Bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field (MBA a plus)
- 5–8+ years of experience in Supply Chain, sourcing, PD, or project management within CPG, beauty, or retail.
- Strong understanding of product development and commercialization processes.
- Demonstrated analytical capability including cost modeling, supplier negotiations
- Exceptional Strong analytical, critical thinking and process improvement skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in driving Sourcing Process across various functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to develop and foster relationships across different functional areas
- Proven understanding of the end-to-end supply chain to ensure decisions align with the overall strategy
- Attention to detail, follow-through and organizational skills
Team Leadership & Oversight
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
