The Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind multiple projects — planning, coordinating, sourcing, and communicating every step of the way. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, trusted suppliers, and high-profile clients to ensure each project is delivered on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality.
 
This role is based out of our New Braunfels, Texas office and requires regular travel to job sites to ensure on-the-ground oversight and seamless execution. This isn’t a “sit back and wait” kind of job — it’s for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the leadership to keep projects moving forward even when challenges pop up.

 

Job Duties

Project Planning and Coordination

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings and resources to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress within the schedule, identify risks, issues, and coordinate with stakeholders’ mitigation strategies.
  • Process submittals, manage submittal log, and request for information (RFI) log.
  • Process subcontracts and purchase order contracts.
  • Process subcontract purchase orders.
  • Process change orders.
  • Assist company, subcontractors and suppliers to solve daily business problems in a timely manner.

Communication and Reporting

  • Serve as one of the primary points of contact for project-related communications.
  • Prepare progress reports, status updates, close out reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Facilitate project meetings to ensure alignment with project goals and schedules.

Business Development

  • Online Research for new bid opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Present opportunities to Executive Stakeholders.
  • Assist Account Executive / Sr. Director of Government Solutions with client communications and initiatives.

Strategic Sourcing

  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services specific to the project requirements.
  • Continuously assess market trends and industry best practices to optimize sourcing strategies.

Minimum Position Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
    • Commercial construction or rapid response deployment experience desired.
    • Prior experience: 1+ year of experience in project management and business development.
    • Certifications: Project management certification is a plus.
