The Project Manager will oversee distribution projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes, client satisfaction, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of projects: routing/siting, permitting, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, procurement, construction administration, and closeout.
Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and developing repeat business.
Prepare proposals, assist with presentations, and support contract negotiations.
Monitor schedules, manage scope, control costs, and maintain accurate project financials (forecasts, accruals, risk/change management).
Ensure effective communication, reporting, and adherence to QA/QC guidelines.
Lead project teams, coordinating staffing, mentoring, and training as needed.
Provide regular updates on project progress, schedules, costs, procurement, and risk factors.
Travel to client and project sites as required.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
7+ years of progressive distribution engineering experience, with 3+ years in project management.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
Experience producing distribution design and construction documents.
Knowledge of NESC and other applicable industry codes/standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to present to all levels.
Proven track record in project delivery and client relationship management.
Preferred: PE license, PMP certification, prior consulting experience.
Ability to travel; valid drivers license required.
