About the role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Project Manager – AI Enablement Exploration to support the delivery of a short-term, high-impact initiative exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance general practice, clinical education, and internal operations at EMPHN.

You will coordinate project activities including training, co-design workshops, engagement with GPs, and business case development. The role involves working closely with our external partner Medcast, EMPHN’s Strategy team, and participating clinicians to deliver clear project outcomes, practical evaluation, and future planning.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the frontline of digital innovation in healthcare and contribute to shaping EMPHN’s AI capability.

About you

You are a capable and organised project manager with experience coordinating pilots or short-term initiatives, preferably within a healthcare or innovation setting. You enjoy working collaboratively and have strong communication skills that help you engage clinicians, vendors and internal teams effectively. Your ability to plan, document and evaluate project activities ensures successful delivery and insights for future initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Health, Project Management or a related discipline (mandatory)

• Project Management certification (desirable)

• Experience managing or coordinating time-bound projects, pilots or evaluations

• Understanding of primary care, digital health, or PHN operations

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Familiarity with business case development or service design principles

• Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards (desirable)
