About the Role:

Primarily based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, you will take a project from early design through to practical completion; working on behalf of the client but in a very hands-on project management role. Your duties will also include:

  • Overseeing cost control management, including budget set up, ensuring your finger is on the pulse at all times
  • Developing a range of programmes in collaboration with site teams, subcontractors and consultants
  • Alongside the project team, take an active role in managing procurement and contract management
  • Building a collaborative environment with the client, consulants, subcontractors and colleagues
  • Proactively contribute to the health & safety strategies on site ensuring safety is a high priority


About You:

You will have excellent commercial construction knowledge, be an action orientated individual that will add value and continuously strive for the best!  In addition to this, you will have the following attributes:

  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role, in the commercial construction environment within New Zealand, preferably in design and build
  • The ability to be an effective and collaborative team member with a great work ethic and ability to motivate construction teams
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Confident with the full MS Suite & navigating MS Project software
  • Experience using Procore & Jobpac would be an advantage
  • Willing to travel Mon-Fri if required
