About Us: KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services
(JESS) is a dynamic delivery center in Kingston, providing back-office support
to KPMG United States. We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our
team and drive successful project execution.
Job Summary: As a Project Manager, you will
manage multiple projects, support program managers and portfolio leads, and
ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also develop
and execute change management and communication strategies to ensure smooth
project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage
overall project execution to meet objectives and desired outcomes.
- Collaborate
with internal customers and teams to develop project artifacts.
- Gather
and document business requirements for business cases.
- Develop
budget forecasts and manage project costs.
- Facilitate
team meetings, publish notes, and ensure timely completion of action
items.
- Support
Program Manager with project oversight and status reporting.
- Communicate
project status and manage risks and issues proactively.
- Collaborate
on change management plans to ensure user adoption of new systems.
- Develop
and execute change management and stakeholder adoption strategies.
- Monitor
and analyze department work to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Encourage
continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Serve
as the key point of contact for Client’s stakeholders.
- Proactively
identify and escalate issues, recommending corrective actions.
- Cultivate
productive relationships between local and Client’s teams.
- Communicate
changes to Client’s policies, processes, and procedures.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business, MIS, or related field.
- Minimum
7 years of project management experience.
- PMP
certification is a plus.
- Strong
leadership ability.
- Experience
with human resource process/technology projects preferred.
Competencies:
- Excellent
communication and customer service skills.
- Strong
collaboration and teamwork abilities.
- Expertise
in project management, including risk management and quality assurance.
- Proficiency
in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
- Ability
to drive quality and continuous improvement.
- Strong
data gathering and analysis skills.
Special Conditions:
- Hybrid
work model with a minimum of five days per month in the office.
- Fast-paced
team environment.
- Primarily
paperless work environment.
- May
require extended hours or work on public holidays.
