iRely is looking for a Professional Services Project Manager who can join the team at iRely’s Bangalore office. This is a hybrid model role.

The Professional Services Project Manager will represent iRely with authority to the customer, as the leader of the implementation team and owner of the project. Ensuring a customer referral when the project is complete, while adhering to the triple constraints of cost, scope, and time is fundamental to our continued success as an organization.

The Project Manager must clearly understand the project objectives, along with the business requirements, and act as the primary interface with our customers to set the agenda, manage customer expectations, develop, implement risk mitigation strategies, proactively resolve issues, negotiate appropriately, and communicate internally & externally, utilizing the iRely implementation methodology to lead these projects to success.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project management and ownership of multiple, concurrent medium-to large-sized, complex iRely solution engagements, adhering to and improving the iRely implementation methodology.
  • Implement change management process on engagements.
  • Follow standard Professional Services operational process and guidelines.
  • Project Planning:
    • Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management/ stakeholders
    • Develop full-scale integrated project plans
    • Develop and monitor project budget 
    • Identifying and assessing project risks and developing mitigation strategies. 
    • Creating work breakdown structures, task assignments including people dependencies
    • Standardize project template/reporting and communication
  • Project Execution
    • Managing project resources
    • Manage project budget
    • Manage project timeline and deliverables  
    • Track project milestones and deliverables, and develop progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Resource Management
    • Develop full-scale project plans and manage project budget and resource allocation.
    • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Team Coordination
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Risk Management
    • Monitoring project progress, conduct risk assessments, create contingency plan, and implement corrective actions
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Communicating project status and updates to stakeholders. 
    • Managing stakeholder expectations and addressing concerns. 
    • Ensuring alignment between project goals and organizational objectives. 
  • Project Closure / Post Project Evaluation
    • Ensuring all project deliverables are completed and accepted. 
    • Conducting post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
    • Closing out project resources and documenting final project outcomes.
    • Closing project budget and providing detailed breakup and any deviation 
  • Identify additional sales opportunities resulting from engagement work.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing all aspects of software product implementation life cycle.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills are crucial for managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

    • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and software tools (e.g., Jira)

    • Understanding of project budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation
  • Risk Management
    • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks

 

Education and Experience:

  • BE/MBA/ME with specialization on project management, software / information systems, etc.
  • 10+ years of software implementation project management experience
  • Candidate should have done at least 3 large full-scale implementations as project manager
  • Product implementation experience is a must
  • Prior experience of leading implementation of Commodity Trading and Risk Management product is a big plus
  • Experience in Agri/Soft Commodities/Energy/Metals domain is a big plus
  • Experience in working with top-tier consulting firms is a big plus
  • PMI / Scrum Alliance certification a plus
  • SAP ERP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics/D365, or Sage implementation experience is highly desirable but not a requirement
