Project Manager

Responsibilities:
 
  • Take responsibility for the project result, taking into account the interests, goals and dependencies within the organization.
  • Composing the project organization and setting up the project team by allocating the right resources on the TenneT side.
  • Prepare and coordinate work packages in collaboration with business stakeholders and product owners of DevOps teams.
  • Timely reporting to the steering committee on all relevant project aspects and ensuring the necessary project management documentation (such as mandate, project brief, PID, etc.).
  • Actively manage external stakeholders – including suppliers and subcontractors – and safeguard their interests; successful collaboration with chain partners is crucial in this regard.
  • Remove obstacles, close gaps and manage risks to ensure timely, budget-responsible and high-quality delivery.
  • Drawing up progress reports and ensuring that the project contributes to the strategic objectives, supported by TenneT's current tools (MS Project Enterprise, SharePoint 365, Jira).

Profile:
 
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) with project or program management and guiding transformations within complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with outsourced (IT) models and the dynamics involved.
  • Takes responsibility for the implementation of projects in an international context.
  • Experience in implementing enterprise IT solutions.
  • Insight into and experience with IT procurement processes, ranging from limited tenders to full European tenders.
  • Experience with bi-modal delivery models that apply both Agile and Prince2 methodologies.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex environment with diverse internal and external stakeholders, often with divergent interests.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Experience with organizational change and business transformation processes.
  • Ability to manage both technical and business components within projects.
  • A decisive, results-oriented and independent working attitude.
  • A proactive, dynamic and steadfast approach in dealing with stakeholders.
  • High degree of integrity and the ability to provide direction to both IT and business under pressure.
  • Customer-oriented thinking and acting as a natural part of the project approach.
  • Contribute to a safe and secure working environment for the entire project team.
