PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We're hiring a Project Manager / Epic Owner to support a region-level data center migration for one of our key enterprise banking clients.

In this consulting role, you'll be the main link between the central migration program and multiple internal product teams on the client side. Your mission is simple (but not easy): make sure services are prepared, tested, and fully operational in the new infrastructure environment - and that everyone knows what needs to happen, by when, and why.

What you'll be doing day to day:

  • Coordinating business-unit readiness activities for the migration

  • Turning program requirements into clear, actionable work for product teams

  • Leading cross-team testing and validation (functional testing, integration testing, regression testing)

  • Tracking progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams

  • Keeping communication crisp between the central migration team and the business unit

  • Driving operational readiness, cutover preparation, and post-migration checks

DO YOU HAVE (MUST-HAVE SKILLS)...

We're looking for the following competence level consultant: someone who can handle complexity, bring structure, and guide others - typically 4-6 years of experience in the role and competence area.

Must-haves (with expected experience):

  • Project management and cross-team coordination (4-6 years)
You can align several teams, keep momentum, and turn moving parts into a plan people           actually follow.
  • Agile hands on experience, SAFe practical knowledge would be a great advantage.
  • Stakeholder management and communication (4-6 years)

You're confident working with central program stakeholders and internal teams, and you know how to create clarity without noise.

  • Understanding of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure environments (4-6 years)

You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to understand what changes when infrastructure changes - and what teams must validate.

  • Risk, dependency, and progress management in complex initiatives (4-6 years)

You can spot blockers early, make trade-offs visible, and keep everyone honest about readiness.

BONUS SKILLS...

These are not required - but they'll help you ramp faster and get into project surely:

  • Experience with large-scale migrations or similar transitions (4-6 years preferred)

Especially if you've driven readiness and testing across multiple product teams in a big, coordinated move.

ARE YOU WILLING TO...

  • Own the "readiness storyline": aligning teams, driving testing, managing dependencies, and keeping cutover preparation real (not theoretical)

  • Operate as a high end consultant in a high-stakes environment where clarity and follow-through matter

WHY THIS PROJECT?

  • You'll be at the center of a region-level data center migration - the kind of program that genuinely tests (and proves) project leadership.

  • You'll work across multiple product teams and a central program, where your ability to drive alignment and readiness makes a direct difference.

  • It's a role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity: clear actions, clean tracking, strong communication, and confident execution.

Location: Baltics (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania). It is expected that most of the time candidate would work remote but has to have ability to travel onsite (within Baltics, mostly Riga) if needed, for workshops, plannings, etc  – it is expected for not more often than few times in a month.
