Responsibilities

In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer and manage enterprise level initiatives that are primarily underwriting and acquisition driven, including online lending setup and expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong credit/marketing/analytics background, is proactive, eager to take initiative and ownership, and thrive in a dynamic environment. This role involves aligning cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven decision-making, and optimizing project execution to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management & Execution: Lead and oversee multiple high-impact projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, on budget and to high-quality standards
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer and department heads to define project priorities and align project goals with company objectives
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations, to ensure clarity, alignment, and accountability.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use strong analytical skills to inform decision-making, optimize processes, and provide strategic recommendations. Develop KPIs and dashboards to track project performance.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between the analytics, credit, and marketing teams to ensure transparent communication and alignment. Present project updates and key findings to senior leadership effectively.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and optimize resources to maximize project impact, balancing workload across teams and ensuring the best use of talent and tools.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices in project management and business operations, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure project success.

Qualifications

What you should have:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and underwriting, marketing acquisition, and/or data analytics, with a proven record of success in roles requiring cross-functional leadership. Good knowledge on product management (education/training, or hands-on experience).
  • Technical Skills: Experience with data analysis, visualization, and creating dashboards. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL is advantageous.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead complex projects, with strong expertise in strategic planning and risk management. Strong business acumen and ability to align projects with overall business strategy.
  • Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated strength in using data to solve business problems, particularly in marketing analytics and credit risk assessment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams across diverse business functions.

 

Base Salary: $75,000 - $150,000

 

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
