Where you come in: Beatport is seeking a full-time Project Manager (Marketing & Creative Services) based in London (Hybrid) to join our Creative & Marketing team in Europe. In this role, you will manage and coordinate marketing and creative campaigns across Beatport, overseeing all stages from brief to final asset delivery. In addition to traditional project management responsibilities (approx. 80% of the role), you will also act as a Creative Resource Manager (approx. 20%), serving as the central point of contact for resource allocation across our in-house creative team. You will report to the Senior Project Manager and work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Design, Content, and Product. Your role is essential to ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and that the creative team maintains a sustainable and effective workflow.

As Project Manager (Marketing & Creative Services) you are responsible for:

Project Management (80%):

  • Managing multiple creative and marketing projects across Beatport, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-brand delivery.
  • Scoping and building project timelines using Asana, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on milestones and dependencies.
  • Facilitating clear communication and task flow across cross-functional teams (Design, Video, Product, Marketing, and more).
  • Trafficking creative assets for feedback and approvals, maintaining quality standards and lead times.
  • Preparing regular status updates, identifying potential roadblocks, and proactively resolving issues with stakeholders.
  • Maintaining rigorous documentation of all project details, decisions, and timelines using Slack, Google Docs, and other collaboration tools.
  • Supporting the execution of cross-promotional efforts within Beatport’s product ecosystem (e.g., Beatport Streaming, DJ, Hype, Mobile App).

Creative Resource Management:

  • Serving as the point of intake for all creative work requests from Project Managers and Producers.
  • Assessing and logging project requirements, deadlines, and scope to ensure proper resource planning.
  • Maintaining an accurate overview of the creative team’s current workload and availability (5-person team: Graphic Design, Video Editing, Motion Graphics, UX/UI Web Design).
  • Collaborating with the Head of Design and other PMs to align project priorities and resolve resource conflicts.
  • Advocating for realistic timelines and preventing over-allocation by balancing urgent requests with sustainable team capacity.
  • Helping improve transparency and communication around team workload and project feasibility.

As Project Manager(Marketing & Creative Services) you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, or Project Manager in a creative, entertainment, music, or advertising environment.
  • Familiarity with the production of digital marketing assets (static design, motion, video) for social media, email, blog, and product channels.
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and a commitment to process.
  • Confidence in managing multiple concurrent projects and comfort navigating changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using project management tools (ideally Asana) and cross-functional collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace).
  • A proactive, diplomatic approach to problem-solving, bringing calm, clarity, and structure to complex workflows.
  • Experience or interest in creative resource planning (a strong plus).
  • An in-depth understanding of the music industry is appreciated. It's a plus if you are a DJ, music producer, label owner, or have product marketing experience in the musical instrument or musical software industries.
