Job Description

You will provide project management execution focused on Material Transfer Readiness in ISC (Integrated Supply Chain) Manufacturing Strategy Organization (MS&E), in partnership with several Departments Leaders of Rockwell Automation.

As Project Manager specialized in Material Transfer, you will be an Expert & Mentor to all responsibilities, who are involved in Material Transfer Readiness process, through all phases of the project lifecycle.

Scope of projects include manufacturing line transfers/ duplications, manufacturing sites expansions/ downsizing/ startups, insourcing/outsourcing.

As a member of MS&E Organization you will be part of High-Performance Team, who build Sustainable Future and support delivery of Performance in Rockwell Automation.

You will report to the MANAGER, MS&E (APAC/EMEA), role is located in Katowice - Poland

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Material Transfer Process execution in projects of varying size simultaneously
  • Establish Material Transfer scope, goals and deliverables with other Project Managers
  • Develop partners' matrix, manage communications and ensure engagement
  • Lead & diverse project team, delegate tasks
  • Develop and monitor Material Transfer Process schedule following project milestones
  • Contribute to project budget & inventory goals adherence to business case and priorities
  • Be an Material Transfer business interface with other Rockwell Automation functions and external parties, if applicable
  • Develop & review Material Transfer Readiness metrics and lead appropriate actions
  • Determine & apply project management and scheduling techniques following Rockwell Automation requirements
  • Develop PFEP (plan for every part) strategy for manufacturing transfer projects including identifying material scope, cleansing source site data, configuration and data setup at receiving site, and coordination of material transitions to support pilot and production requirements
  • Lead coordination Master Scheduler/Finished Goods Planner and plant Production Control Analysts to review inventory planning parameters required to launch manufacturing process supply chain health during initial production ramp-up
  • Coordinate material requirements definition, set-up and inventory plans to support pilot builds, and acceleration into steady state operations, ensuring material availability for all pilots to support production transfer timeline
  • May lead internal process improvement efforts

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's in engineering, further education in business, supply chain, operations or project management is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years related experience (i.e. Production and Inventory Control, Operations, Purchasing, or Manufacturing Engineering)
  • Experience in material control/production planning environment is desirable
  • PMI Project Management training or equivalent
  • APICS Certification ( the standard of professional excellence in supply chain and operations management. The APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation shows skills in global operations production and inventory activities).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is an advantage
  • Project Manager Competency Profile development plan
  • Fluent English
  • Travel: Up to 25%.
