YOU WILL BE:

As the Project Manager for Supply Chain, you will collaborate, document, and take lead in Supply Chain System projects from beginning to end. You'll work on multiple projects quickly resolving any road blockers to keep projects moving until complete.

This is a great opportunity for those looking to grow their portfolio. You will help improve the Saks Supply Chain network and expand into future corporate projects. You will report to the Manager of Process & Continuous Improvement in Supply Chain.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Define and document project scope, goals and desired outcome
  • Create detailed project documentation
• Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement
  • Undertake risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met
  • Ensure project delivery is on time, following scope and within the allocated budget
• Set and manage partner expectations, both internally and externally
  • Provide project updates to partners following demand and requirement
• Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring deliveries
• Be knowledgeable of industry best practices, techniques and standards, and encourage team members to use them for project execution
• Use the right tools and techniques for easier project management

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Experience of three to five years in managing projects
• Knowledgeable in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Monday, Asana.
• Draw up detailed project plans and schedules
• Proficient at managing time and resources
• Navigate when resources are limited
• Manage crises as and when they arise

• Prior experience in Supply Chain/Retail desirable
• PMP certification desirable
